Opening of the International Garden of Peace and Dedication of the ‘Peace Portal’

On Januray 24th, 2009 we celebrated the opening and blessing of the International Garden of Peace at Meditation Mount. Here you will see photos of the new Peace Portal created by G. Ramon Byrne and the many well wishers who passed through. The day was also graced by the presence of Robert Muller and his wife Barbara. As United Nations Assistant-Secretary-General and in other capacities, Robert has worked for peace throughout his life and is a living model of that peace. He concentrates his efforts on promoting greater human understanding and global awareness and was recently the recipient of the Albert Schweitzer International Prize for the Humanities and the Eleanor Roosevelt Man of Vision Award.
