Volunteer Service Opportunities
The Mount is a place of peace and great beauty where your gifts of service are needed and appreciated. We offer you a unique opportunity to join the Mount’s Volunteers in a group endeavor that will make a positive difference to your own life and to the world.
Fundraising
Provide ideas, energy, and creativity to assist the Greening of the Mount Capital Campaign and fundraising for new programs, conferences, and international collaborations.
Hosting
Provide a welcoming presence to our guests. Beautify the meditation room, lounge, and auditorium with flowers cut from the land. Maintain our reference library. Answer questions on the history and purpose of the Mount. Take people and special groups on tours through the gardens when needed.
Program Coordination
Maintain mailing list database, research potential new programs and conferences, provide program support as needed, help with publicity and marketing.
Maintenance
Become involved by assisting and learning various forms of building maintenance and construction including electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, woodwork, stucco and wood refinishing.
Landscape Projects and Organic Gardening
Tasks range from weeding, maintaining irrigations systems, caring for the gardens, landscape design and the general appearance and beautification of our property.
Computer and Graphics Support
Assist in all areas of graphics design, web and the internet
Office Assistance
Answering phones, data entry, making copies, filing, organizing. Good people skills a plus. Experience with databases, Word, Excel and multi tasking highly desirable.

Housekeeping
Meditation Mount has three beautiful residential sites, a high-beamed ceiling auditorium with glass walls and a meditation sanctuary that require daily attention. Tasks include shining windows, cleaning furniture, floors and preparing accommodations for guests.
