OUR MISSION
Promoting the building of an enlightened and compassionate world through creative meditation, inspirational educational programs and special initiatives that are uniquely focused on the practical application of the following universal laws and principles:
Right Human Relations - the inclusive practice of loving understanding that treats all beings with respect and dignity.
Goodwill - a powerful and abundant energy that nourishes the greatest good for all life.
Group Endeavor - the group-conscious, collaborative energy that moves us to think and act purposefully together on behalf of the whole.
Unanimity - the recognition of the fact of "one humanity" and the importance of each individual as a unique expression of the One Life.
Spiritual Approach - the inevitable movement of life to an ever-expanding state of wholeness and joy, through a living relationship with the Divine Presence.
Essential Divinity - the acknowledgment and honoring of the Divine Presence in every person and in all life.
OUR SERVICE
Creative Meditation
The Mount is part of a growing global network of groups and individuals who practice meditation as a service to the world. We invite you to join our daily, monthly full moon and special creative group meditations—in person or link with us from a distance.
Embodiment of the Spiritual Principles
We foster the embodiment of these six fundamental touchstones as key aspects of our work. They are infused throughout our programs—from our meditation teaching to online foundational courses and community outreach. Help us champion these in all fields of human endeavor.
Educational Initiatives
The Mount provides learning opportunities through classes, weekend workshops, theme specific retreats, trainings, study groups and conferences. Our programs explore new pathways for growth, deepen spiritual understanding and enhance skills for soul-centered living. We welcome your ideas and participation.
The Land
The Mount is blessed with stewardship of 34 acres of land at the east end of the Ojai Valley. We consider this a sacred site and joyfully share the gardens, trails and meditation room year round with the general public. We invite you to honor this deep connection and partnership with the earth.
International Garden of Peace
We welcome you to visit these beautiful gardens to enjoy the stillness they provide for meditation and inner reflection. We encourage you to cultivate your own inner garden of peace so that your life may be a gift of healing and blessing for the world.
Special Events
Meditation Mount is pleased to offer its beautiful auditorium, with panoramic views of the Ojai Valley and surrounding mountains, for a wide variety of spiritual and cultural events. Our gardens are also available for sacred ceremonies honoring birth, marriage, passages and celebrations of life.
